Jesolo is a good starting point to visit Venice. It is possible to book various types of guided tours in Venice to discover its most picturesque corners and its most famous monuments.

For those who want to reach this beautiful city independently, here are a few tips on all the most important places to visit and how to reach Venice:

Bus and motorboat: from the bus station in Via Equilio (Jesolo), you can take the ATVO bus Line 5 to Punta Sabbioni and then the ACTV motorboat Line 14 and 15. The motorboat Line 14 also stops in Venice Lido (the journey takes about 90 minutes).

Bus: you can reach Venice even by bus starting from the bus station in Via Equilio (Jesolo) and taking the bus line Jesolo – Marco Polo Airport – Venice (about 70 minutes).

Car: you can also reach Punta Sabbioni by car starting from Jesolo, and then continue with the motorboat. Or you can arrive directly in Piazzale Roma (Venice) by car where there are public parking spaces that you can use paying a fee.

There are so many things to see and places to visit in Venice, so we suggest preparing an itinerary with all the main points of interest that you can’t miss.

During your tour in Venice, you have to include a visit to St. Mark’s Square where there is the famous Cathedral and the Doge’s Palace. Obviously, you can’t miss a visit to the famous Rialto Bridge and the churches of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and Santa Maria Formosa, as well as, especially for those who love art, a visit to Guggenheim Museum and Gallerie dell’Accademia.

An alternative itinerary to visit the city of Venice could include a guided tour of the lagoon exploring its most beautiful and best-known islands: Murano, Burano and Torcello represent the authentic soul of Venice with the traditional glass-blowing technique, the wonderful lace accessories and the archaeological finds.
